Loh Wei Liang

Wei Liang graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1989. He worked as an Assistant Engineer with Indeco Engineers Pte Ltd involving in the Pulau Seraya Power Plant project after his graduation until 1990. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2nd Class Upper Honours) from the Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland, U.K in 1993. Upon graduation, he joined Squire Mech in 1993 as an Engineer. He is currently a Director with the company.

Since he joined Squire Mech, he has actively taken part in a wide variety of projects such as residential, institutional, and industrial, office buildings, hotels, commercial complexes, and several retrofitting works. Some of the more significant projects are Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Plant, Grand Copthorne Water Front Hotel, King’s Centre, Peirce Villas and BMW Main Showroom and Workshop.

Wei Liang was the Lead Electrical Engineer on the Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceutical and Nutritional Plant. He coordinated site-wide utilities and advised the Client on the local requirements on electrical installation issues. He has since been involved in other industrial projects such as Schering-Plough, LONZA, BMW Showroom/Workshop etc. He was also the Lead Engineer for the 30-storey Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

Wei Liang also has wealth of experience in overseas projects, having worked on several projects in Malaysia, Vietnam and United Arab Emirates.
